Seamaster 120 accuracy

I just recieved a very handsome automatic Seamaster 120m (2501.31)for a wedding gift. I love the smooth sweeping second hand, but have some issues with the accuracy. I have worn the watch daily for about three weeks, and would expect it to have been pretty much broken in by now. It seems to gain about 15-20 seconds per day. I have just recently started experimenting with letting it rest in different positions when I am sleeping to no avail. Should I expect this to improve with some time, or would it be recommended to have it serviced at this point? Keeping exact time is not that important to me, or I would have asked for a quartz movement; however, I would like to see my watch perform a bit closer to chronometer standards. Thanks for any input!
