Re: speedmaster/day-date

Hi Vic!

Do buy and speedmaster! It has been one of the best things I have done in all my life. Almost a year ago, I had an extra income in my work and it was integrally dedicated to my speedmaster. A fantastic Xmas present to myself. My SMP is the model 3813.53.00, actually out of the Omega catalog but still in some shops. I paid, more or less, 1.500 Euros (1.500 dollars). In Spain there is always a 5-10% discount if you pay in cash.

My SPM It is entirely black, and the bezel (also black) stands very good the daily use. I haven´t taken extreme cares with it, just before going to bed, twice a week, I bright it with a soft piece of material (leather), lightly wet of water... but no more.

My watch is very accurate, so I think that if you buy an Omega your buying something for life. I consider that my watch is a pice of art so I enjoy it every minute. Take a magnifier and stand seeing how the hands work, and you will think that diserves to have an Omega in your hand.

Good luck and best wishes from Spain!

José
