It's kind of hard to judge by jewels>>

The jewels are bearings. They're synthetic rubies, so it's not like they're precious or anything. I think the typical movement "needs" 17 to cover the friction points.

The Speedy Auto "Moon Watch Wannabe" has forty something jewels, mainly because it's actually just a regular movement with a chrono module attached. The forty something jewels doesn't mean a whole lot other than this movement has a lot of friction bearings.
