It is the 150th Anniversary. Omega only adds the engraving on LIMITED EDITIONS.

The unlimited edition is a regular model and Omega did not want to turn off people who liked the watch and didn't care that it was an anniversary edition.

In reality, that model was a test of the new dial design to see if they wanted to use it on more new models or not.

Obviously it was successful, since they will be offering more watches with the new dial.
