The best thing do is purchase the watch from an authorized Omega dealer. You will pay a little more, but the service you get is worth the price. This site has some great FAQs that should answer just about everything you want to know about purchasing fine wristwatches in general, as well as specifics about Omegas. I believe you can also find a dealer in your area by visiting www.omega.ch which is Omegas official site.
