From another source, I have a suggestion which may resolve your problem. Rather than dealing with Rolex NY, contact the Beverly Hills outlet, as with Rolex NY, you have to deal with the abruptness of local New Yorkers which can be taken as rudeness, where the people in Beverly Hills will be of a different personality.
With regards Rolex in general, I quite agree. I have a Submariner and a Daytona (the Submariner was something I've wanted since I was 12) and to be honest, neither can hold a candle to the Planet Ocean I got for Christmas (my first Omega) I'm now planning on getting a 2531.80 model Seamaster. Like James Bond, I've made the switch from Rolex to Omega, and would encourage anyone to do likewise.
