TIBOR...Dust Particles, what's going on?

I am becoming quite discouraged.

I was sitting at my desk looking at my new SMPC Chronograph watch and thinking: "it is a beautiful watch, nothing is perfect"...when I too noticed dust particles under the crystal.

I exchnaged my first SMPC Chronograph bkz the bezel was off. But the problems continue. The new one's bezel is also off, but not as much...the clasp continually pops open, the date changes at 12:50 (which Omega now says is "normal"), and now I find dust particles present.

Why don't these problems exist with my Citizen, LumiNox, etc watches that cost 1/10 as much?!!?

I have always wanted an Omega, never a Rolex. I guess it always seemed like the non-flashy, reserved quality similar to a Bentley VS a Rolls Royce.

I wouldn't mind simply sending my watch in for "Repair" but then I hear the horror stories that Tibor posts of exchangeing one problem for another.

Why do the quality standards appear to be so much lower than "cheaper" watches....what is going on?!? The frustration detracts from the joy.
