I've recently begun collecting vintage seamasters, and I especially love ones from the '60s.
I see that many of them for sale on the internet, however, don't have the sea monster screw back. Many have an omega acier stainless back with no inscription on surface.
questions: were all seamasters from that era given a sea monster case back?
Am I to assume that when I see a seamaster without one, the orig. back has been looted?
