Hi Elisabeth
(great summary, Steve!)

I would either go for the DATE-model or the original PROFESSIONAL-model. The first is very comfortable to wear (for average or smaller wrist sizes) and has the date indication which is important (to many). The latter model is the original Speedmaster and has this great legendary myth and touch.

I would suggest the following: Write a nice letter to your husband and offer him a new Omega Speedmaster (you can restrict your gift offer down to several models if you like, maybe the Omega dealer is able to set up a gift voucher for you). Then guide him to the Omega shop and let him decide which model he prefers. He definitely will be thrilled to bits!

My preferred model:

Good luck.
