Another Omega you could try is the Chrono Planet Ocean or the Seamaster Chronograph, however the Speedmaster is a good watch, and has alot of heritage behind it, a sure keeper. Like anything mechanical, Service costs are higher on Chronographs. The looks of the Speedmaster is quite unique and he will love the watch.
