Hi Roger.
There are lots of these watches about and prices vary a great deal, as you would expect dealers will charge a lot, for example STS have several models for sale in excess of £600, the same models can be found on the auction site for between £100-350. Expect to pay around £150 for a decent but more common model, up to £350 for a rarer one, anything up to £800+ for one of the 18kt gold ones, and whatever it takes for a mint one with all its boxes and papers.( auction site prices). I recently picked up a nice complete package for less than £150.
If you e-mail me i can certainly help you if you want to purchase one, with either advice or i have some of my own which i may be willing to sell.
Let me know what style/model you are after. SteveW has lots of models pictured in the catalogues he has on his website. I can advise you of the pitfalls what to look for and what parts are still readily available.

Regards Keith
