Again, many thanks. I think Omega-wise I'm going to look for a nice vintage 861. I'm also looking at Heuer's, and while my heart says Siffert Autavia, my brain says, maybe a nice Cal 12 Carrera...or even a Camaro.
That's a good Reilly column. Don't know if you remember, but ESPN the magazine made him a crazy offer, and SI matched it and gave him the slot to justify the money. He's a nice guy and I think he's really stepped up.
I'm trying to keep this out of the realm of "collecting." Just buying and wearing. The lack of closet space has kept my guitar habit in check, but there's no equivalent force to keep watch acquisition to a semi-reasonable level.
