Re: 50th Anniversary LE Speedmasters

Thanks for the heads up on the limited editions. I'll be honest with you, I love my moonwatch, its one of the best purchases I've made and I love the hesalite. It looks awesome. I got my first deep scratch and took it out with polywatch in about 10mins. I'm thinking about getting a seamaster rather than the limited editions. Happy hunting.

: It looks like Omega will be releasing five 50th
: anniversary limited editions of the
: Speedmaster. One is powered by the 1861, and
: the rest have a 3201 movement with a column
: wheel mechanism and the co-ax escapement.
: Here are links to the models on Omega's
: website: Red Gold with 3201:

: White Gold with 3201:

: I wish that Omega was releasing a version with
: the original 321 movement, but maybe Lemania
: doesn't have the capability to make it
: anymore. Or maybe Omega doesn't want to open
: a can of worms about what movement was truly
: worn on the moon! ;-)

: I won't be buying any of the limited editions.
: I'm still as happy as a clam wearing my
: Sapphire Sandwich.
