Don't know. The main up I see is the early moon… *PIC*

: Or is there a real premium for this early watch
: with the alternate caseback? (But aren't
: casebacks reasonably cheap and easily
: changed?)

: Educate me, please.

I Don't know. The main up I see is the early moon caseback. While casebacks are easy to switch, I am unaware of any source for NOS 1st Gen Moon casebacks on the secondary market.

Just so you know... I own 10 Moonwatch cased Speedmasters (if you include the c.1045 "Grail" 376.0822) and an example with this style of caseback has eluded my efforts to land one in my collection so far.

The asking and closing prices on all Omega's have been rising at a greater rate the past 6 months or so. I was looking at Mark III's last night and it's kinda amazing what's happening there.

I don't know what to tell you Allen. Since I haven't been actively seeking Speedies with any sustained dedicated effor the past couple of months, I don't really know what's been going on with the c.861's. But I do agree with you that the feedback history on this fellow was not particularly deep and his pictures were below average at best.
