A recent head-scratching Heuer sale *LINK*

It seems to me that clean 861s with very good pics pop up here and on timezone quite regularly with asking prices of $1,250 to $1.400. They're great watches, but there are a bezillion of them out there...the BMW 325 of the watch world?

I was watching this Heuer too last week. I know that a good Camaro might bring $1800 or so. But on this one, the red flags were up higher.
The seler is a dealer of collectables, and her other listings of cheaper items suggested that she's capable of much better, if not perfect, pics.
When I asked her to post more/better pics of a watch that would fetch over $1,000 without any serious issues, she declined. Could the blurry pics may be concealing a dial and/or a movement with big problems? I didn't feel like betting $728 to find out.
And this one isn't working so there's at least a couple hundred dollars worth of additional investment required.

best
Allen
