Bought 5 watches in 5 months.. *PIC*

including one Omega for my better half just last week (2nd from right)... and looking to add more OMEGAs - gold, moonwatches.. (also lost an ebay bid for a 2296.80).

BTW how should one keep watches so that they remain pristine ? The pretty sale reps shared with me that the Rolex she was wearing was gifted to her by her mother-in-law who bought it about 20 years ago (but it was never wore and always kept in the box) yet it emerged with tanished, brownish hands. You would have thought that it would have been better preserved given that it was in a cool, dry place and with no adverse ultraviolet effects (from sunlight)... Perhaps moisture should be controlled (but to what relative humidity?) and also bacteria (and but how - would activated carbon satchets help in the latter?)
