Bob,a 1970 should be a 861 as I believe Omega switched over in 1969. But sometimes variations turn up as Omega uses up older parts. Still, I'd bet 861. However, since it needs regulated (and a service, most likely) why not take this oppertunity to ask the person doing the work. If it is in good cosmetic condition (or you are happy with it) any good (repeat- good) watchmaker can service it for you. You'll want new seals as well as regulation and lube. If you want to spruce up the case-bracelet-hands-dial(lume bad?)by all means ship it back home for the whole bannana. You won't lose either way.
