Hello. I amdoing my research into buying my first Omega Conny. Before coming across your site I had a genuine naivety towards fake old Omegas & in my mind I thought because they were of a certain age they must be genuine. My train of thought thinking that only "Modern Watches" were faked. I now know that this is not the case & in fact the world is flooded with fakes & my new found knowledge has helped immensely, for this I thank you & the contributors to your site. So in my quest for this first Conny I think I would like to go for a 70's model like this one shown in this link, however before I consider parting with my hard earned I would like a second opinion from the experts. This seller has sold many of these models & as far as I can see they are redials with polished bracelets is this type of thing considered acceptable among collectors, or does it detract a lot from the value of the watch? If this watch was to be had for a reasonable sum would you say this watch would be worth having & what would you consider a resonable amount to pay for this type of watch? Essentially, when is a watch considered a fake?
Regards,
lowfell
