Omega Speedmaster problem

Hi all

Speedmaster 3513.30 owner here.

My watch has stopped... unfortunately this is not due to lack of activity!

I cannot manually wind it, there is great resistance and I wouldnt want to forceit. If the watch is shaken it makes a louder noise htan before.

The chrono also does not work.

I have tried tapping hte crystal, tapping the back, shaking it a bit, and pulling the crown in and out (all things suggested on here in different threads) but am having no luck.

Is there an easy fix?

If not, I bought it online at AATime. Has anyone used their warranty service before (the salesman said htat they return it to the AD who forwards it to Omega). Or should I just pay a local quality jeweller to have a look and save the hassle - if so what is the likely price?

Thanks in advance
