Re: Spritzer-Fuhrman brand
In Response To: Spritzer-Fuhrman brand ()

: I inherited a man's wristwatch by
: Spritzer-Fuhrman. I cannot find any info
: about this company (presumably defunct?) or
: the quality of the watch, time period it was
: likely manufacted, etc. I'm curious about
: the value but have no plans to sell, it's
: the heritage I'm seeking.

: Does anybody have a lead on this company?

Hi
Spritzer & Fuhrman were jewellers on the island of Curacao. Erno Spritzer and Esiu Fuhrman were Hungarian Jews who started their business by selling cheap jewellry on the streets of Curacao and subsequently grew their business into the finest jewellers throughout the Caribbean and New York. I grew up with both families as dearest friends of my parents. If you have a S&F watch you can be sure it's fine quality. Sadly they have been out of business for quite some years. Hope this helps. Regards, Tony Morris.
