In Response To: Constellation? ()

Constellations never had blue dials in that period. First blue dial I have ever seen was in a calibre 752 made especially for the Japanese market.

I would need a pic to definitely tell you about the watch, but it it is from the early 1960s, then your description kinda defies all that I know about the models from that period.

How about posting a pic?

: I have been offered an Omega Constellation with
: a Blue face (circa 1960) but which says
: "Chronometer" as opposed to
: "Offically certified etc
: etc"....It doesn't have a day date,
: sweep second hand or anything, and the face
: is quite simple, which I like. It has the
: correct back on it as far as I can see (ie
: the observatory etc) and it's through a
: dealer, not ebay. Were any of these produced
: without the "Officially certified"
: text?
: Thanks.
