I think the problem is that you're looking for a watch that's been discontinued. Although I can't say this with absolute certainty, I don't recall Omega selling the 2254.50 on a rubber strap, either. I have a master price list that goes back to January 2006, and at that time it wasn't in their catalog.

The 2254.50.00, the same model on a bracelet, was discontinued earlier this year. It was a popular model, so some AD's still have them in inventory.

Anyway, I'm sending you a referral to the "forum favorite" AD. He may be able to find you both the watch and a rubber strap to go with it.
