Here is a repost of John's post. What I suspect is that Jeff wasn't able to distinguish the title "CQ de K4YK" from the gobbledegook spam posts we've been getting. As I'm a HAM, "CQ de K4YK" makes perfect sense, but to a non-HAM...

CQ de K4YK!
If you are a ham radio operator, you understand the header. Over the years I’ve met quite a few hams on the watch forums and there are probably many more I’ve not met.

I recently crossed paths with Roger, W3BFM, (beamon) who introduced me to CQ100, a software program that simulates ham radio operation over the internet. (You must be a licensed ham to use it.)

He and I have discussed the possibility of establishing a periodic “WIS-net” using CQ100 that would allow roundtable watch discussions. Another idea would be to establish WIS calling frequency so that we can chat informally among ourselves.

So if you are a licensed ham and interested in this project, drop me a PM or better yet, an email, and let’s put WISdom “on the air.”
