Re: My Mistake re "CQ de K4YK"
In Response To: My Mistake re "CQ de K4YK" ()

: My Mistake re "CQ de K4YK"
: most of the Spam messages include what appear
: to be random strings of letters, either in
: the Subject line or in the body of the
: Message (or in both Subject and Message
: fields).

: So, yes . . . Chuck has solved the mystery. As
: I was cleaning up dozens of Spam messages, I
: saw the "CQ de K4YK" and thought
: that it was one of the Spam messages . . .
: and so I deleted the message.

I wish I could take the credit. I had a mid-morning phone call from Sam Hewett [I got a Hotlanta Two-Time on my phone this morning] and he mentioned the possibility that "CQ de K4YK" could slink under non-HAM's RADAR.

: My apology to John and I hope that he will
: re-join the Forum sometime soon.

: Jeff

My apologies as well to John, I hope we can get him up and posting again soon [if we haven't made it possible already].
