Chuck's right ( as usual - waddya expect ? )
In Response To: One Piece At A Time... ()

Chuck has covered the main points.

All I can add is that it is very unlikely that you'll find the right parts to make this a complete & correct watch. It would take a LOT of scouring around. And then, you have the choice which watch would you like to build ?

To help you in future searches & for a GREAT online source of Speedmaster Info, you can do no better that to check out Chuck's website - links at the bottom of all of his posts or USE THIS LINK !

If you want to buy a book on he subject, I'd say the Best for pure speedmaster Info is Alberto Isnardi's "The Master of Omega". It is regularly listed in eBay. But I'd use Chuck's website first. ( there isn't much in the book that isn't on Chuck website somewhere )

"Don't be backward at coming forward" feel free to ask us about any watches that you see.

Finally, Thank you Chuck for posting the link to Johnny Cash Video. As you know I really like that song. I wonder what happened to the car ? That must one of the world first Music Videos. ( I read the first officially recognised video is Bohemian Rhapsodie from Queen, but Johnny's must predate that by quite a few years ! )
