Chuck explains the case swap in detail and I lusted after it, but didn't own a 176.0012 and had actually forgotten about it until I stumbled across this one for sale:

Stunning. Just stunning. I acquired a 176.0012 this week and the wheels are starting to turn in my head. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but to me that is the perfect evolution of the Mark II/IV/Mark 4.5 case. Now that I have the watch, I'm going to pursue the manufacturer of that case.
