First of all thanks to Richard for calling my attention to Steve's posting that I oversaw when it was originally posted. Steve, the catalogue is really terrific, thanks a lot!

What I find remarkable for my side is that ref. ST 176.0012, which is referred to as '5880' on the catalogue, is called with the moniker 'Mark V' even by Omega themselves.
I had seen this several times before by others, but this is the first time I see it on 'official' documents, though it's referred to as 'called Mark 4.5' on the Omegamania book that can be considered a semi-official source of a kind.
This is especially intriguing if we think that the watch really looks a bit like the Mark V for the dial (and shares its famed Lemania 5100 movement of course!) though it's the Mark IV (176.0009) for the case, but here we're talking a good 8 years BEFORE the Mark V got out! Does anybody know whether there was already a project in the vaults to call the 176.0012 as "Mark V" or is this just a typo or mistake (probably they meant "Mark IV")?
Any clue on this?
Bye
Fabrizio
