Re: Watch Recognition
In Response To: Watch Recognition ()

I can’t explain why
: but I bought a Rolex Submariner Friday and
: have received 11 compliments in 2 days.

Not suprising at all. Rolex is the most recognized watch in the world and a symbol to most that its owner has "money". I actually prefer my watch to not "get noticed" because while it creates interest from some, it creates negativity from others. My Omegas have not received many compliments, but Im sure had I bought the comparable Rollie, I would have experienced the same thing. However, at this point in my life, I don't need three women buying me drinks, I have one and thats enough.

Hey, if its getting you the girls, great. The big question is do you really think it has something to do with the watch? If so, Im sure Rolex would be happy to hear from you. Maybe they could turn it into one of those "Ole Spice" type commercials.
