Re: Inherited Omega - Need help identifying

I've opened up the case again and checked the engraving under the balance wheel - at first I thought nothing was there, until I spotted a rather elusive RA - then the 30.10 - so the visible marking is 30.10 RA which proves I was wrong - and thanks to your advice I advanced a bit on my quest.

I'll have the Portuguese mint marking on the front of the case analyzed by a jeweler, then I can have an idea on when that engraving was made since mint markings change over time.

Since I am in Portugal sending the watch to another European country is easier because here are no customs.

Any ideas of the value of such a watch? I'm afraid the cleaning cost may be higher than the watch in itself (God forbid it...).
