I would like to buy a Speedmaster model 3570.50 and of course have been looking
at ebay auctions. There is a seller on ebay that offers this model new for $2400,
but I routinely see people paying $1900 plus for watches ten or more years old with
this same model number. Is there some value to in these older watches that I'm not
aware of?
If not, it doesn't seem to make sense to pay only 20% less for an older watch of
unknown mechanical condition. Is there something people are seeking in the
older watches ?
Can anyone share their thoughts on this ?
Thanks,
Dave
