Came across a man's watch on a recent trip to Texas in an antique mall. It's an Omega DeVille, nice condition. Would love to get this for my husband and my dad is keeping an eye on it and says it hasn't sold yet. Everything looks genuine but I have a couple of questions that I cannot find answers to on the web. The back of the case has a raised DeVille logo of a skyline and the serial number is on the case back instead of on the 7 o'clock lug. Does this sound right? Otherwise, it had Omega symbol on crown top, face had Omega at top, DeVille at bottom and Swiss made, bracelet has Omega symbol. Seller wants $800. He has no paperwork but said he believes it is circa late 80s or early 90s. Condition is very nice and running. (I have no pics.)
Thanks for your help. Just don't want to buy a lemon.
