Auto or quartz? Gold or stainless?
Auto should be more than quartz and gold should be more than stainless.
I might pay $500 for a stainless auto, 20 years old if in good condition, without other qualities attractive to a collector. But that is a general opinion without reference to any specifics . . .
However, if you want it and are happy with the purchase at the price you pay, then it is a good buy . . . I suspect there is negotiating room in the $800.
