Re: Blue "Bond" Seamaster to be Discontinued!!??!!??

Found a story on the black Bond Seamaster with the skeleton hands.

http://www.watchobsession.co.uk/blog/2008/04/04/new-omega-seamaster-diver-300m-for-james-bond/

It is a limited edition piece with 007 on the face. This really makes me wonder if the info I heard about the blue version being discontinued was in error. To clarify - I heard from by AD that the blue version was to be discontinued but has not been discontinued as of the date of this writing. The watch is to be discontinued in the near future and supply would likely dry up around the new year.

But if the black version is limited edition, does this mean that there would NO LONGER be a standard production Bond watch with skeleton hands and the scalped bezel (300M version) in ANY color? Will PO be the only production version? I just can't believe Omega would do that as I hear how well the blue Bond watch sells. My AD turns them over within a week or two - month at most - of getting them.

Anyone heard any additional news on this?

- GregB
