Thanks, Jim. Before a $900 trip to the 'spa' a few months back, the black faced one was gaining about one second per week (this is why I decided to get it serviced - it had only gained 1 second per month for the previous 16 years), but it's only gained 1 second in the 2 months since its return; the white faced one gains 1 second per month after a recent overhaul (about the same rate as before); the President gains 1 second every 2 months (last overhaul 2001). I seldom wear any of them anymore due to their rarity. The bracelet on the middle one (a 1993 model) still has that 'new Rolex' stiffness in it, and the green hologram label on the back. Roger:
Roger,
: Nice grouping of the Oysterquartz. I don't believe I've ever seen 3
: in one spot before.
: I curious to know how accurate they are month to month. Reason
: being is a friend has one and its a pertty poor
: timekeeper all things factored in, its been back to Rolex for an
: overhaul but came back keeping the same time. It looses
: several minutes a month. Nice grouping Roger.
