What makes you think its a fake?

I can't see any obvious signs that its a fake. It may very well be real. Other than the clasp being polished to oblivion, it looks ok based on the pics. Maybe a clearer dead on face pic may help. It is however a quartz model as it lacks the word "Chronometer" on the dial. Im assuming you were aware of that before you purchased it. Nothing wrong with quartz, as long as you knew it up front.

Did it come with paperwork and do they match the model # and serial # of the watch? Maybe you could post those as well. Does it have an 8 digit serial # on the back of the 7 oclock lug? Keep us informed.
