an old omega? *PIC*

I am from Croatia, and lately I came in possession of an old watch that belonged to my late grandfather. He died 25 years ago, and I estimate that the watch is at least 40 years old.

The watch is an Omega (at least it says so). It hasn’t been touched for at least 25 years, but when I wined it up it started working (for a 30 sec, but I don’t want to destroy the mechanism by forcing ). It has no strip, and the glass is slightly damaged, but it showed life. The watch says “Omega” and “Genève”, and in the bottom, small letters, “T swiss made T”. The back says only “waterproof”. I tried to identify the watch with local watchmakers, but none of them seem to be able to identify the watch.

So, any help with identification would be wellcomed (or help with telling me that i have a 5 euro forgery)
