$600 US for a GMT Strap!?!?!?!

Hi everyone! I recently went in to my local Omega dealer and inquired about a rubber GMT strap for my Sea Pro. I knew that the blue shark skin strap was about $80 US, and figured that the rubber one would be about the same, if not less. Needless to say, I was floored when the salesgirl came back to me and told me the price. Now, I am aware of Omega's fine quality and reputation. However, I think that $600 for a RUBBER strap is a bit much. Is this the normal going rate? I know this particular store's watches are overpriced (and they won't dicker at all). So maybe they jacked up the price on their accessories too? Thanks for all info. And, Derek, this is a great page!!

Best regards, Eric
