Their rubber strap is not a simple watch strap made of rubber. It has a heavy duty rubber diver's bracelet with very elaborate clasp mechanism and diver's extension. I only got a brief look at one once, but I was impressed.
But still, $600 is rather pricey. Try contacting Omega customer service and see how much they charge to order it directly through them.
