Omega Seamaster Professional Quartz Info

I would appreciate any info on the battery used by the SMP 2541.80. I am interested in the type (silver oxide or lithium) and if possible the battery number. What is the average life?

On the Omega website, it states the life is up to 36 months. I just saw a SMP at a dealer, and the "battery change sticker" is until 02/05, so that is at least 4 years ???

Also, if anyone has any links with detailed technical info on the quartz movement used by the SMP (Calibre Omega 1538), this would be very valuable.

I am seriously considering purchasing this beauty, and it is going to be my first quartz watch after many pleasurable years with several automatic and manual Omegas. My son has a PR 100 quartz Tissot, and it runs 2-3 seconds fast a month! Can I expect better than this? I have only found and read rather broad generic info on the accuracy of Omega quartz watches, but a real users experience would be most welcome.

Thanks for your help before I dive in!
