Re: Not a problem... Happy to assist...

: Thanks for the cool site that tell s me what
: FWIW and more means. Not a problem...
: Happy to assist...

: I think we 1st talked around that time 96 97
: about watches then I did not hear your name
: tell this site again. Hmmm... [Confused
: frown...] While I've been on the internet
: since 1989, I've only had a website up since
: 1996, active on eBay since Late 1997,
: seriously collecting watches since early
: 1999. So I'm a bit lost here.

: I didnt get a computer tell I found this
: site. You are scrathcing your head I bet.
: You'd win that bet...

: But I think it was not about Heuers But
: Omegas. Who Knows If we are still
: talking about 5100's I have some links that
: may be of interest...

: I used to be able to write ect. I have writin
: some things. But do to a mind injury I have
: lost a lot of things. My math in now better
: than my writing, Thats easy I can hear the
: crew saying. But trully the mind is a funny
: thing. Like the old saying... A waist is
: a terrible thing to mind... Not a
: particularly funny joke. I'm sure the mind
: is sometimes funny other times maddening.

: I used to race cars but have found that it
: has effected me there also, But dont worry
: fellow racers you wont have a chance to
: finally pass me because I can no longer pass
: medical.

: Now when I do finally post photos I am a Film
: guy and have tons of movements in fine
: detail on film. It's not a terribly
: difficult thing to do, if you need
: assistance let one of us know and we can
: host some snaps for you. I can even stitch
: together some HTML that you can copy and
: past to present your picturs.

: My digital photos are not up to this sites
: par AT ALL. That's ok, neither are mine.
: Hopefully the commentary makes up for it
: most day's...

: Sometimes i Get lucky. On the colored dial
: shots you all did I trerd like heck to post
: my Wakmann day date calinder boat etc dial.
: I thought somebody would Now that baby has a
: colorfull dial I have a colorful Wakman
: date full month calendar that I ought to get
: repaired and take pictures of... Now if I
: can only remember where I put it...

: Ok I quit talking

: Thanks for all the info Pleased it was
: useful.

Wow very nice sites. I love the fantasitc photos of the Movements!!!!!!!!

You may of heard me ask this before of folks.
Back in the change over heuer used a date only 5100s with the min marker not as jet like.

This modle 5100 is a 3 hertz slower beat than the 28,800s But I have never seen any note of this. I have one in a S.S. case and have worked on 1 other years ago in warrinty.
Any of you guys see that second hand moveing alittle more jerky than your others?

Any watch guys know and or can ask your conections about this. Its maddening because know body has ever noticed or seen this in print.
But thay made a slow beet for sure.
I will shot of an email to the 5100 site guy, he seems to have worked on a lot of these.

To clear up a little I was on web TV before I got this used computer and found this site. My wife tells me more like 98-99-00 thats when we talked about. ( I remeber some things) the Olimpic timer Omega made for 68 That won all the awards. Thats How I new you had it when I asked you some time ago to post your movment photo on this site for the crew as I am un able to. ( Thats a Timer 36,600)and what a crystal on those!

What happened to my head was a little stroke it seemed to efect my speach as much as my spelling and writing. Sorry I guess I just dont like saying it. My wife said after reading this last post that people can think up much worse thing about the mind so thats all it is. But Liked your joke. I am going to use it at the next doctors meeting!!!!

5100 my fav. the 1340s and V.J. 7750s can be regulated better, even though the 5100 has a better regulater. I have found that all my 5100s have position changes that move around as much as 4 sec in 24 hours drives me crazy!!! 1340, 7750 for the most part I can bring into under a sec in 24Hs.
Oh well we are off to the historics and the Pebble beach thrusday drive and weekend.
Take Care Crew
I bet some of you may be there
If you see My 54 Sprint at the events Please say Hi.
And Chuck thanks again for all the info and help!!!
