: I'm on the hunt for info regarding a Semikrosplit. The timer I have
: is an early Semikrograph (Mvt s/n 603) marked with E & M on
: the caseback and there seem to be many others about with this
: marking. I've had a good look around but can't find any
: reference to that mark. in WW1 there's a branch of the Royal
: Engineers who were referred to as E&M but the watch has no Pheon
: and the British army tended not to buy expensive watches like
: the Semikrograph so I think that's not the link. My guess is
: military judging from the number of Semikrographs marked E&M as
: that would likely be the only organisation buying in such high
: numbers. Any thoughts?

Here is a picture of the caseback of my semikrograph. The mark is M.P.W. 2438. Unfortunately, I have no clue about the reference or the meaning. Enjoy yours.
