One of the first lessons I learned from Jeff, a few years ago, was that any supposed Heuer watch with "17 Jewels" (or any number of Jewels) is at minimum a refinished dial, and at worst not a Heuer. It was an observation from Jeff that saved me alot of money (thanks again Jeff). Three or so years later I still haven't seen a Heuer that breaks this rule.
Not 100% sure on "antimagnetic" written on the dial, generally screams redial if it is purporting to be a Heuer, but I have seen some models from the 50s which might be correct with this inscription. Anyone have any views?
Back to your camaro, I think we'll all agree the dial might concievably not be untouched original (LOL), but I agree also with Jeff that case and movement look correct. You should be able to find a camaro dial somewhere, I think they are not stupidly rare. Good luck.
