Can this be brought back to life ?

These are large, remarkable watches. A Silverstone on your wrist really makes a statement !
Clearly the spotting on the dial & the worn case significantly lowered the sale value of an otherwise desireable watch. IMO everyone who buys a classy watch (such as the Silverstone)wants it in at least very good condition. I figure many of us that looked at it figured it would be an expensive proposition to restore this watch back to its former glory. Whilst on the subject of restoration, what could have beeen done to restore this watch and what sort of money are we talking about here? Can the spotting from the dial be removed/repaired and how good would the case look if polished? Could the bracelet have been made to look much fresher?

: The Blue Silverstones has consistently been one of the icons.

: What do we think of this one, just sold on ebay at $2,550?

: Seems that there was a significant discount for the emerging
: freckles on the dial / wear on the case.

: How do others see this one?
