Well done mark that's a labour of love. Lots of useful information here and I like the connections back to the pre Carrera models.
Just to help you on your way with this I've looked back through my Heuer documents and pulled out a reference book from 1970-71 that gives a brief run down of what replaced what as the models evolved. unfortunately there are no dates but it does show that Heuer did replace models and did not continue to make similar models side by side. First off is the 3647 with Val 92 movement; replaced by: 7753 Val 7730; replaced by 73353 Val 7733; replaced by 73353 (yes the same case ref but with the 70s case) Val 7733. Then there's the 3147 with Landeron 189; replaced by 73453 with Val 7734. The 2447 and 2448 both Val 72 were replaced by the 73653 and 73655 respectively, both with Val 7736. The oddity, that may or may not count as a Carrera, is the 7754 Skipper that used the Carrera case, this was replaced by the Autavia cased version 7764, both ran Val 7730.
Hopefully this will help simplify the chart as you can run these watches on a single timeline
