Re: After pre-Daytona the pre-Carrera? Is it a 3336 Tachy?

That 37mm case size could well be correct.

The Carreras fit a 29.5mm movement (the Valjoux 72 and 92 have the same diameter) into their 35mm case, whereas a Valjoux 22 has a 31.3mm diameter. A nearly 2 mm difference in the movement diameter would quite probably translate to a 37mm case. So marginally bigger than a Carrera 12 or 45, but probably close to a 45 Dato, as the Landeron 189 is a 31mm-diameter movement too.
