The latest news on this saga is that the item was listed once again on ebay by the same seller - easybuy2005 item number 330361462490. Both Rich and I were blocked so we could not bid. The seller has now realised £2,850 for this skipper. Not bad if you can get away with it. Both Rich and I will be taking matters further with ebay and will keep you all posted. If any member of the forum won the item I would be most grateful if they could contact me. As you can imagine it’s not easy to stomach the first scam but to see the item appear again adds salt to the wound (to put it mildly).
