First of all, welcome to our forum. It's always great to have the new participants, and it amazes me that we have some many people who read on a regular basis, without coming forward to post messages. Of course, this is absolutely fine, but it is always fun when a reader becomes a writer.
You wrote, "It is not a perfect one, but it has "character" . . . ". I believe that it is the "imperfections", the beautiful aging of the lume, that actually make these so special and give them their unique character. Personally, if given the coice between NOS and well-aged, I will usually prefer the look of the well-aged sample. Yours has the beautiful lume on the dial and hands. Perfection, to my eye!!
So welcome aboard, thanks for sharing this beautiful Monaco, and we will look forward to your further participation here.

: Hi everybody and happy xmas and happy new year to all of you,
: just wanted to introduce me and my new old Monaco 1133. I am from
: Vienna, Austria, and working as a graphic designer. Collecting
: watches has been a big hobby of mine since the last years. I
: love vintage sports watches from Heuer, Omega, Rolex, Breitling
: - the ususal suspects I suppose. Concerning Heuer I already had
: a few Autavias, one Calculator and Monacos. At the moment I own
: this very nice 1133b which I traded with Rich from the UK. (Hi
: Rich, thanks again for this wonderful watch!!) It is not a
: perfect one, but it has "character" and shows how
: lovely it has aged over the years. Hope you like it, I love
: it;-)
: cheers, Christoph
