you mention about silvered Dato's: is it standard to have silvered subdials in the dato with silver Heuer text? The variation seems pretty unusual.
This is a shot of a dato in my collection, with silvered subdials. The watch is from the original owner, with papers and everything, so no doubt in my mind is is 100% original.
