Paul:
I won't enter the photography skills topic (which we discussed and appreciated so much in the past). After having seen your photo, I just picked myself up from the floor and wanted to drop a line to congratulate you for the quality of your collection and for the incredible pace to achieve it.
Cheers,
Francesco

: For the past 2 years my daily routine starts with breakfast at OTD.
: I usually partake in a croissant, two cups of strong coffee and
: one cigarette all but the latter at my desk catching up on the
: latest posts on OTD. So on this special occasion, I raise my cup
: of (afternoon) tea in salute to OTD, to Jeff’s efforts (past,
: present and I am sure, future) keeping the fires burning and the
: interest alive and to the many contributors who are the
: lifeblood of the forum, adding interesting topics morning after
: morning which always makes for an enjoyable breakfast.
: OTD has been at the very centre of my need to acquire ever since I
: bought my first vintage watch – a Carrera 2447 S. And for the
: past 2 years I have allowed my innate need to acquire to go
: forth unbridled and build a collection of vintage watches. To
: celebrate this day I prepared a picture.
