This issue is one of the reasons i would only ever choose to use Nic and Abel for my Monacos, they "understand" the issues and are sympathetic to them.
Keep us up-to-date with the results mate.
: I've done my darndest to ensure the integrity of the watch in
: question remains - after much negotiation TH has agreed to
: retain the original hands, however they insist the lume gets
: replaced.
: My final request is that they do this as sympathetically to the
: patina of the dial as possible (dial will not be touched at
: all).
